September 09 – The Embassadors Preview

(...) The album was recorded in a state of super-concentration. I only allowed myself and the musicians one shot at each take, meaning we had to have a heightened awareness before recording. This could be a throw back from being involved in enough productions in which musicians are given too many chances and cut to play like they never could in reality; or it could be that deep down, I believe that if the mindset is right the first take will always be the best. New Embassadors Project just startet

Hayden Chisholm and Burnt Friedman produce the 2nd, dubwise album of The Embassadors (non 27) to be released in October 09.

"Coptic Dub" contains 8-10 instrumental tracks recorded over a period of 3 years at locations in New York, Cologne and Berlin. Like before, Jochen Rueckert plays drums and Matt Penman upright bass. Mr Chisholm plays tenor saxophone, hammond organ and steel pan. Guest musician, Bruno Mueller handles an electric 6 string axe.



March 2009

B. Friedman and Atom™ are currently working upon a soundtrack for Szabolcs Hajdu´s 5th feature film Bibliotheque Pascal. Besides Flanger, the soundtrack will also contain musical parts played by Root70 and B. Friedman.
